I have been in practice for more than thirty four years and have practiced primarily in the family law area. I have found that collaborative family law is the most appropriate method for helping families to reorganize after a separation, while still remaining civil to each other and maintaining a healthy attitude with respect to each other's role in raising children. With the costs of court and the delays being so prohibitive, collaborative family law is often the most appropriate.
I am in private practice with Claude Leduc, who also is a collaborative family lawyer. I am also a Deputy Judge in the Ontario Superior Court ( Small Claims Court) for the past 20 years, I am a mediator and offer those services, I am a member of the Office of the Children’s Lawyers Panel and have been for 25 years, and I sit on various committees at Legal Aid Ontario, and the Welland County Law Association.
